In-Home Puppy Training

Perfect for puppies up to five or six months old who aren’t quite ready for group classes. This one-on-one puppy training takes place in your home and local neighbourhood, using simple, fun exercises that lay the foundation for lifelong good behaviour. This early stage is a one-time window of development where the right support can prevent many future behavioural and physical issues. This service is $88 for a 45 minute private session including report and homework plans (e.g. Early Puppy Confidence 1 and 2). Additional mileage charges apply for areas more than 20km from Elmvale
Foundations Puppy Training

A structured group course designed to teach essential skills such as recall, wait, stand, down, wait, and place (“bed”) using food and praise rewards. Ideal for puppies 6 months to 2 years old without significant behavior concerns like anxiety or aggression. Includes weekly video tutorials (2 per week) from Kinder K9, sent in advance so you can practice before class and get the most out of each session. Indoors at Pet Valu. $240/6 weeks Just 3 dogs per class – ideal for targeted skill-building.
Obedience (Co-Operation) Refresher Skills

Perfect for dogs over 2 years old and handlers who already have a working relationship and want to polish basic skills. This refresher course revisits key behaviours like name recall, loose leash walking, wait/stay, and impulse control, helping to sharpen focus and reliability in everyday situations. $300/6 weeks Small class size – only 2 dogs per class for focused learning
