Massage, Myotherapy and Reiki Mobility at Home

Gentle and science-based, Galen myotherapy is a massage and exercise program that helps dogs with pain, mobility issues, and recovery—right in your home. Combining massage, biomechanics and functional movement exercises to improve lives.

 

Sessions include guidance to help you support your dog’s comfort and movement between visits.

 

In-home services available in Springwater Township Barrie, Midland, Wasaga Beach and surrounding areas. Veterinary consultation and consent are always required. *Additional mileage fees for those more than 20km from Elmvale will apply. Lisa will provide this cost in advance.

Move Well at Home: Personalized Massage, Myotherapy, Reiki & Exercise 

Ideal for clients new to this form of therapy. Intake Assessment and Intro to Galen Canine Myotherapy/Massage and Reiki with practical care plans to relieve muscular tension, treat chronic musculoskeletal conditions like arthritis and also improve recovery from cruciate surgeries and issues with hip/elbow dysplasia and patellar subluxation as well of those in a palliative stage.

$110 for this stand-alone appointment.

  • ​Minimum 60 minute appointment in-home

  • Postural analysis, comfort/pain and environmental assessment 

  • Intro. to massage/myotherapy and Reiki for dog and family

  • Veterinary communication

  • $90 per subsequent appointment

Expect to need three appointments over 4-6 weeks for dogs new to the program.

Injury Prevention & Recovery

Ideal for agility and sporting dogs to prevent injury. Lisa also helps you understand your dog’s movement, posture, and pain signals. You’ll receive simple, effective techniques to support your dog’s comfort and confidence—plus guidance tailored to your home setup.

About Lisa’s Galen Myotherapy & Reiki Certifications:  

Lisa completed her formal Level 3 Diploma with Galen Myotherapy UK, including a rigorous practical component in the United Kingdom. She is a certifying Galen Canine Myotherapist, trained to deliver this specialized therapy with the highest standards of care. She studied Reiki locally under the guidance of Reiki Master Natasha Smyth of Soul Centred Therapeutics. Lisa is also recognized by the International Association of Animal Massage and Body Work (IAAMB).
